Some of you may want to ask, “What’s this whole website about? Why are you doing this? Are you stupid or what?
The whole idea behind this website is very simple. I totally like chicken food and after a long time of abstinence I finally went back to the chicken grill around the corner and ordered a roast chicken.
The taste of the chicken amazed me. It almost gave me epiphany. I was so enthusiastic about this very chicken, I had to share it with the rest of the world. Well, actually, it was my tiny friend list on a very popular social network.
Whatever the case, I uploaded the photo of my recent meal and my feedback was, urm, almost zero. Despite the lack of attention I continued my journey in the newly discovered land of roast chicken and ate roast chicken every Wednesday.
I shared my chicken experience weekly by uploading a photo of my delicious meal. Gradually more and more people paid attention on my chicken posts and also had some followers who were also posting pictures of their roast chickens. But after a while the network I used to share and celebrate Chicken Day became some kind of a douche when it comes to owner’s copyrights. I decided to leave the platform with my chickens and posted one last photo saying goodbye for the time being.
Time to think big. Moving to another network wasn’t an option and I finally decided to create my own place to share and celebrate Chicken Day. Here we are, the final result ist chickenday.net
Till now the first goal is to continue sharing my chicken photos every week. There’ll be some special features in the future, but this also depends on how successful or abortive chickenday.net is going to be.
