Yet another Monday roast chicken

Circumstances these days demand a slight change in my chicken schedule. Last week and this week, I had chicken on a sodding, bloody Monday. Which is okay, because at least I got roast chicken. That does not mean that I currently start liking Mondays, I just said it’s fine the way it is.

Craving for roast chicken

I was starving as hell before getting this extremely beautiful roast chicken. It wasn’t sold by my favourite chicken dealer dude but it was delicious anyway. I’ve also switched to another bread roll instead of the standard one and put salty butter on it. Tastes awesome, give it a try!

The day after Chicken Day

It’s not Chicken Day per say, but due to the fact, that I wasn’t able to eat the whole chicken on Wednesday, I’m proud to present to you the chicken half that survived Chicken Day.

This roast chicken was served cold and I’ve added a bread roll with salty butter. As a desert you can see four yoghourt gums in the top left corner. Decadency 🙂

This was the first “The Day after Chicken Day” feature. Maybe there’ll be more of this in the near future. Or in the distant future. Or at any random time somewhere in the future.

Low-carb roast chicken

We go low-carb. The bread rolls you see to the left and right of the delicious roast chicken are protein bread rolls. I try to avoid as much carbohydrate as I possibly can (ignoring the fat under the chicken skin).

This roast chicken was prepared by that bearded guy who usually sells chicken at the chicken stand just around the corner.

Double Chicken Feature

As mentioned on Twitter, we had some technical difficulties last week, the picture of the roast chicken of the week got lost. Reason unknown. So here’s to you a roast chicken double feature.

Me and a friend of mine were celebrating the end of his writing period for his thesis, he’s studying economics and stuff. And, additionally, we watched football. Netherlands vs Germany. If you feel interested, I do actually support England but every team that may give the Netherlands a loss is a team that gets my support.

Gymchicken

That’s a fitness chicken. Anyway, it’s still a roast chicken but this is the chicken I was eating right after gym. We got lots and lots of protein and unfortunately also a lot of chicken fat. Chicken fat makes people fat. But still much better than a burger or a pizza.
